The Animal Shelter Foundation is launching our annual #ASFGivingTuesday Campaign and we are asking leaders like you to inspire our community to help shelter animals and animals in need in the Tallahassee area, by becoming a Matching Donor. 

Because of YOU, thousands of animals have been saved. Last year alone, ASF directly helped 5,800 local animals by providing spay/neuter vouchers, heartworm help, lifesaving vet visits, spay/neuter surgeries at our low-cost clinic, Tally Spay, and low-cost doggie manners classes.

About #ASFGivingTuesday

Created in 2012, it’s the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, after the shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and has evolved into a movement that encourages and inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, work together, and celebrate generosity.

Whether it’s a donation, some of your time, the power of your voice in your local community, helping a neighbor or stranger, showing up for an issue you care about, or sharing some of what you have to those who need help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. Join the movement and give.

  • Over 5,800 – animals directly helped plus hundreds more helped with foster care
    support and special needs
  • 64 Spay & Neuter surgeries completed through our Voucher Program
  • 5,025 animals spayed or neutered at our low-cost clinic, Tally Spay
  • 98 Heartworm Help shelter dogs treated
  • 36 Shelter dogs & cats helped through our Vet Visit and HOPES Programs
  • 110 Participants attended our low cost Doggie Manners Classes or other training
  • 204 dogs and cats helped through the Transport Program
  • 68 felines helped through our Community Cats TNR Project
