A group of hard-working elementary school students set up shop at Southwood’s Central Park in Tallahassee, Florida on Sunday, August 28th to raise money for the Animal Shelter Foundation (ASF).
The Florida State University Schools’ students selected ASF as their National Elementary Honor Society charity organization for the day. Along with their excellent grades, each of the students is responsible for contributing volunteer services towards civic responsibility.
Selling cupcakes, cookies, brownies and lemonade, the students worked diligently to raise $348 for ASF from kind-hearted patrons looking for well-deserved refreshments on what was an exceptionally warm day.
